This position requires a detailed resume that reflects relevant experience and/or education to fulfill the responsibilities associated with the role.

Experience encompasses both paid and unpaid roles, including volunteer work through National Service programs and other organizations.

All qualifying experience, including part-time and volunteer work, will be considered.

It is essential to clearly outline the duties and responsibilities for each position held, along with the total hours worked per week.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

GS-06: Candidates must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service, whether in the private or public sector.

Relevant examples include utilizing screening and interview techniques to gather or confirm information; assisting clients with form completion and understanding of rules and regulations; and coordinating tasks with other departments or organizations.

GS-07: Candidates must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service, whether in the private or public sector.

Relevant examples include interpreting and applying regulations from both private and government programs to ensure proper procedures are followed for alternative resource programs; conducting thorough client interviews to assess eligibility for alternative health insurance options; registering eligible clients in various programs; researching alternative resources; and managing workloads to accomplish multiple tasks within set deadlines.

GS-08: Candidates must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service, whether in the private or public sector.

Relevant examples include interpreting and applying regulations from both private and government programs to ensure proper procedures are followed for alternative resource programs; conducting comprehensive client interviews to assess eligibility for alternative health insurance options; registering eligible clients in various programs; managing workloads to accomplish multiple tasks within set deadlines; providing recommendations to clients regarding various health care benefit programs and eligibility criteria based on current health care laws and regulations; conducting extensive research and providing updates on changes in rules and regulations for alternative resources; compiling data and drafting reports; and assisting in resolving complex benefit issues.

  • Federal employees in the competitive service must meet Time-In-Grade requirements.
