Enrollment Research Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Enrollment Research Specialist to join our team at the Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma. As a key member of our Enrollment Department, you will be responsible for researching incoming enrollment applications, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service to our tribal members.

• Conduct thorough research on enrollment applications to determine eligibility or ineligibility for tribal enrollment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of tribal enrollment, including electronic membership records and historical hard-copy records.
• Provide customer service to applicants and tribal members, answering questions and resolving issues related to tribal enrollment.
• Assist with the annual process of disbursing annuity checks to enrolled Pawnee Tribal members.
• Verify membership status, birth dates, and Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood as requested by Pawnee Nation tribal programs and external entities.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
• One year of general office experience, typing, filing, data entry, and customer service required; two years preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to learn Progeny ES Tribal Enrollment Software.

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced office environment with multiple demands and tight deadlines. Occasional travel may be required for training, meetings, and conferences.
