Job Summary:
This is a full-time position that provides Medical Support Assistant services for MCSG Technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Registration Department and performing various tasks related to the administration of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide symptom screening for employees, contractors, patients, and visitors at the healthcare facility.
- Verify patient appointment status and location using the Electronic Health Record.
- Assist with pandemic response efforts, including data entry, contacting patients, and mailing patient letters.
- Provide intermittent clerical duties, including answering phones, routing calls, taking messages, and scheduling appointments.
- Coordinate with Administration staff and Safety Officer on any unplanned events and visitors.
- Coordinate with medical and ancillary staff on additional screening or services for patients.
- Provide patients with information on requesting appointments and obtaining services from MCSG Technologies departments.
- Explain policies and procedures to patients in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate must be able to pass a background check and have a Public Trust security clearance.
