Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish project scope, objectives, and deliverables within the domains of network, security, and cloud operations.
  • Oversee project activities and formulate project timelines.
  • Develop work packages linked to milestones, identify dependencies, and schedule tasks: Ensure timely assignment and completion of tasks; Monitor and report on project milestones and deliverables.
  • Manage risks and devise risk mitigation strategies: Assist in identifying and evaluating risks associated with network, security, and cloud operations; Aid in formulating risk mitigation plans; Continuously monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Engage with stakeholders to prioritize operational tasks and engineering initiatives; Provide regular performance reports to senior management regarding tasks and project outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with the PMO team to maintain transparency on all tasks and projects; Update the PMO team on network, security, and cloud operation policies, standard operating procedures, and best practices.
  • Coordinate vendor management for the procurement, installation, and maintenance of network, security, and cloud systems, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
  • Support the creation of presentations and briefings for clients; Assist in developing documentation on policies, standard operating procedures, and best practices; Provide project status updates and additional information as required.
  • Manage change requests pertaining to network, security, and cloud operations; Assess the impact of changes on the project; Utilize Change Control Boards (CCBs) to oversee and regulate project-related changes, ensuring effective project delivery.
  • Define and uphold project quality standards; Conduct quality assurance checks.
  • Offer technical guidance and data to facilitate customer decision-making regarding solution alternatives and investments.
  • Provide technical direction to steer project team execution.
  • Mentor program personnel, enhancing team support for the customer.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, finance, business management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of nine years of experience as a Technical Project Manager.
  • Proficient in applying project management best practices.
  • Experience with NOC and/or SOC and Infrastructure Engineering contracts.
  • Familiarity with projects involving Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • Understanding of and experience in implementing ITIL practices.
  • Experience leading medium to large project teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree.
  • Experience as a Scrum Master.
  • Familiarity with FinOps.
  • Experience with ServiceNow.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must possess a Secret level clearance.
  • Eligible to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time.
  • Regularly operates a computer and other office productivity equipment.
  • Occasionally moves about the office to access files and equipment.
