Job Summary:
The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for processing the bi-weekly payroll for assigned locations in a timely, accurate, and confidential manner.
Responsibilities:
* Audits time cards to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
* Processes new hires, taxes, employee changes, terminations, and garnishment orders in the Kronos H.R.I.S./Payroll System (T.I.M.)
* Verifies exempt and non-exempt status of employees and reviews payroll information for accuracy and necessary approvals
* Works closely with the Human Resources department to ensure the integrity of payroll data related to new hires, terminations, pay rate changes, leaves of absences, and transfers
* Sets up Direct Deposit of employee pay and verifies all hours pulled into T.I.M.
* Processes earnings information of employment verifications and assists other Payroll Coordinators in completing payroll
Requirements:
* High school graduate or equivalent
* EO/E/M/F/D/V
