Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Training Specialist to join our team at Trinity Industries, Inc. in Saginaw, TX.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training Needs Identification: Identify and track training needs across the organization, ensuring effective implementation of training programs.
  • Training Program Development: Develop and implement training programs that meet the needs of direct and indirect labor, including simulator work environments and skill matrices.
  • Training Delivery and Evaluation: Deliver training programs and evaluate their effectiveness, ensuring compliance with regulatory organisms and industry standards.
  • Training Data Management: Manage and control technical training data, including training documentation and regulatory compliance.
  • Training Budgeting and Forecasting: Forecast budget and man hours required to comply with the annual training plan.
  • Training Vendor Management: Research, evaluate, and partner with vendors and third-party training providers to provide training in specific areas that require specialized skills and knowledge.
  • Training Plan Development: Develop, manage, and track the annual training plan, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Training Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with regulatory organisms, industry standards, and company policies, including AAR, FRA, OSHA, and ISO.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, engineering, or related area.
  • Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in technical training.
  • Skills: Ability to manage training programs, collaborate with business units, and process leaders; training regulations; training needs identification; E-Learning and B-Learning knowledge; skills matrix; training matrix; adult learning principles; instructional methods.
