Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Hotel Manager with strong leadership skills who is eager to grow alongside our team. In this role, you will work closely with the General Manager to coordinate and supervise the daily operations of the hotel, stepping in to fulfill the GM's duties when necessary. Your primary focus will be on managing staff and ensuring that our guests enjoy a top-tier experience with our services.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for customer service while effectively managing the hotel's budget and maintaining quality standards. A minimum of 2 years of management experience in the hospitality sector is required, and a bachelor's degree in hospitality management is highly preferred. Compensation:

$50,000 - $55,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as corporate policies and standards.
  • Collaborate with department leaders and the general manager to create an annual budget, monitoring performance throughout the year and making adjustments as necessary to maintain profitability.
  • Assist in managing the hotel's human resources functions, including HR administration, staff turnover control, employee motivation, and retention strategies.
  • Work alongside the general manager to guarantee that all guest service standards are consistently met.
  • Evaluate the performance of each department, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to enhance hotel profitability.
  • Supervise the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring that all guests receive efficient and friendly service.
  • This position involves managing team members, addressing guest inquiries and complaints, and maintaining reservation systems to boost guest satisfaction and optimize hotel occupancy.
Qualifications:
  • A strong commitment to guest satisfaction and delivering exceptional customer service is essential.
  • Previous experience in a managerial role overseeing a team, preferably within the hospitality industry, is required.
  • Demonstrated organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are necessary.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the hospitality field is required.
  • A high school diploma or GED is necessary; a bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
