Your Responsibilities
As a vital member of our bar team, you will:
  • Assist the bartender with stocking, maintaining cleanliness, and managing equipment.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests and service staff as needed.
  • Foster a collaborative environment to ensure outstanding service for our guests.
  • Act as an ambassador for the bar/restaurant, crafting personalized experiences and building relationships with guests that encourage their return.

Key Duties Include:
  • Greet and welcome guests warmly.
  • Check service stations and tables for proper setup and cleanliness.
  • Support restaurant dining services when appropriate.
  • Perform necessary sidework, setup, and breakdown of the bar area.
  • Adhere to uniform and grooming standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness by changing trash cans, filling ice bins, and stocking beverages.
  • Clean and organize bar equipment and supplies.
  • Assist with deliveries and inventory management.
  • Notify management of any guest concerns regarding intoxication or behavior.

At Kimpton, we embrace versatility. You may be called upon to take on additional responsibilities outside of this role as needed.

What You Bring
We prefer candidates with at least one year of experience in a similar or supportive role. Certifications in Food Handling and Alcohol Awareness are advantageous. You should be able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate product, menu, and allergy information to guests. Familiarity with restaurant point-of-sale systems and inventory management software is a plus. We value hard work, dedication, and a genuine passion for hospitality. A flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays, is essential.
