Job Title: Entry-Level Developmental Therapist

Soar Autism Center is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Entry-Level Developmental Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team. As a Developmental Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing individualized care to children with autism and their families.

About the Role:
  • Provide direct care to children with autism in a 1:1 setting, teaching new skills and promoting comprehensive growth.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to design and implement individualized developmental plans, upholding the principles of the Early Start Denver Model.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with families, offering regular insights on their child's progress and providing guidance rooted in best child care practices.
Responsibilities:
  • Engage children in play-based routines, transforming everyday moments into opportunities for teaching and nurturing essential life skills.
  • Work effectively on a team to achieve shared goals and support the growth of children with autism.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in child development and autism care.
Qualifications:
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a talent for building connections with young children and their families.
  • Experience in child care roles such as daycare, nannying, or similar positions, or related educational experiences.
  • Ability to work effectively on a team and maintain strong relationships with families.
