Job Title: Entry-Level Developmental Therapist

Soar Autism Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Developmental Therapist to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated professional to work with children on the autism spectrum, providing individualized developmental plans and implementing the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) in a 1:1 setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement individualized developmental plans, ensuring comprehensive growth and progress for each child
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to provide a seamless experience for families, from diagnosis through therapy
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with families, offering regular insights on their child's progress and providing guidance rooted in best child care practices
  • Engage children in play-based routines, transforming everyday moments into opportunities for teaching and nurturing essential life skills
Qualifications:
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a talent for building connections with young children and their families
  • Experience in child care roles such as daycare, nannying, or similar positions, or related educational experiences (e.g. bachelors in psychology or child development)
  • Works effectively on a team
