Job Overview:

  • Possess a minimum of 6 years of relevant ERP expertise with a comprehensive grasp of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012.
  • Have at least 4 years of experience in the installation and configuration of AX 2012 core components.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX functionalities, including Order Management, Procurement, Inventory Management, Fulfillment, Manufacturing, and Financials.
  • Certification in Dynamics AX is preferred.

Role Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting AX implementations, offering end-user assistance, and enhancing the functional capabilities of AX. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Managing the Microsoft Dynamics AX environment on a daily basis, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  2. Implementing measurable enhancements in ERP operational efficiency.
  3. Developing new applications within DAX and ensuring the integrity of the DAX system through design and development efforts.
  4. Configuring the production AX environment effectively.
  5. Conducting business requirements analysis and design.
  6. Performing gap/fit analysis between Axapta functionalities and organizational needs.
  7. Documenting functional requirements and software designs meticulously.
  8. Assisting internal and external teams in expanding their DAX knowledge, collaborating with IT staff to address business challenges.
  9. Engaging with end users, management, and support teams to identify opportunities for new applications to resolve business issues.
  10. Executing additional duties as assigned.

Candidate Qualifications:


• A Bachelor's Degree is essential, ideally in Business, Accounting, MIS, Information Technology, or a related discipline.


• A minimum of 6 years of relevant ERP experience, with a solid understanding of Microsoft Dynamics AX, complemented by a degree or equivalent experience, preferably with a Dynamics AX certification.


• At least 4 years of experience in the installation and configuration of AX components, including user groups, security, and database connections.


• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX functionalities, including order management, procurement, inventory management, fulfillment, manufacturing, and financials.


• Proficient understanding of AX features, configuration, and support.


• Familiarity with related technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Exchange, .NET, SharePoint Services, and BizTalk Server.


• Expertise in the AX technology stack and development methodologies.


• Skilled in planning and executing AX system tests to validate functionality, configuration, and data integrity.


• Proficient in documenting business issues and escalating for assistance as necessary.
