Parking Operations Coordinator Job Description

Job Summary:

Cornerstone Parking Group, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parking Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless parking services and a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Location Manager to ensure efficient parking operations and excellent customer service.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, businesses, and local authorities.
  • Monitor local business and city websites, as well as social media platforms, to stay informed about events and activities in the area.
  • Ensure event lots are clean and free of debris after events.
  • Provide parking enforcement services, including issuing tickets and towing unauthorized vehicles as needed.
  • Provide daily courteous and professional service to property management, maintenance teams, residents, and retail employees regarding parking and access control.
  • Assist with event parking operations and enforcement of parking inventory and equipment maintenance.
  • Promote a team environment that delivers quality service to all internal and external customers in a manner that represents Cornerstone professionally.
  • Work with ParkLync and validation coordinators to assist with validation programs.
  • Ensure timely collections and deposits for all revenue classifications.
  • Complete the ROC (Revenue and Occupancy Consolidation) each business day.
  • Maintain and administer vendor relationships with landscaping, towing, equipment, and other service providers.
  • Create budgets and staffing schedules in collaboration with leadership for each event.
  • Interview and train new staff members.
  • Practice hands-on leadership, coaching through MBWA (Management By Walking Around), lead by example, and servant leadership.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Flexible schedule: able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by each event.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; higher education degree strongly preferred.
  • Attention to detail, organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and business sense.
  • Previous customer service/client relationship experience a plus.
  • Dependable, on time, and able to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and social media.
