Position Overview
As a key player in the management of construction projects, you will oversee the execution of public improvement contracts. This role involves leading construction management efforts on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to established goals and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the construction phase of various public improvement contracts, ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of design plans from a constructability perspective, providing insights on materials and equipment suitability.
  • Facilitate construction meetings and maintain effective communication with contractors and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and manage cash flow projections, ensuring financial accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Administer contracts and agreements, ensuring all terms and conditions are met proactively.
  • Monitor daily field activities to ensure project milestones and completion dates are achieved.
  • Act as a liaison between design engineers, district office engineers, and contractors to resolve issues and facilitate smooth operations.
  • Prepare detailed reports on project progress and respond to inquiries from contractors and stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and approve invoices, ensuring accuracy in relation to work performed and materials delivered.
  • Coordinate with various utilities and agencies to address public concerns and maintain project integrity.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess an Associate degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or be actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline. A minimum of five years of experience in construction, particularly in treatment plant or underground construction, is required. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
