As a pivotal member of our engineering team, you will:
  • Guide a team of engineers and designers in project execution.
  • Engage in project timelines and review sessions.
  • Offer technical insights throughout all design stages, including the assessment and interpretation of standards.
  • Conduct necessary calculations and analyses to finalize specifications for electrical equipment.
  • Draft requisitions and evaluate bids for procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Examine vendor documentation to ensure quality and timely contributions to design packages.
  • Create design documentation, including Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), Protection & Control schematics, and layout designs.
  • Ensure that design packages comply with relevant safety, environmental, and ergonomic standards.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to enhance interface areas during design development and review processes.
  • Provide specialized engineering support to design and drawing office personnel.
  • Review third-party design work to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Understand and adhere to the contract quality management system requirements.
  • Participate in and occasionally lead design reviews within the discipline.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Over 15 years of professional experience, including 5-8 years in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • A thorough understanding of international codes and standards.
  • Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English.
  • A proactive, dedicated, and adaptable approach to work.
