Job Description

The Clinical Supervisor - Educational and Mental Health Alliance is a key role at Bellefaire JCB, responsible for overseeing the TEAM Program and providing clinical and administrative supervision to the TEAM staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide administrative and clinical supervision to TEAM Alliance staff, including hiring, supervision, training, performance evaluation, disciplinary actions, and termination of employees.
  • Client Records and Reporting: Supervise and assure the maintenance of adequate and timely client records, reports, and billing.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that standards and regulations set by accrediting and/or licensing bodies are maintained by TEAM Alliance staff.
  • Staff Training and Development: Conduct or coordinate staff training to provide the skills necessary to implement the TEAM Alliance program.
  • Individual and Group Supervision: Provide weekly individual supervision to assigned staff and group supervision as needed.
  • Intake Decisions: Provide consultation and input on intake decisions as requested.
  • Community Relations: Represent the agency in the development or maintenance of relationships with other organizations, including schools and other referral sources.
  • Program Evaluation: Ensure that TEAM Alliance staff participates in agency research projects to evaluate the program's effectiveness.
  • Professional Conduct: Ensure that TEAM Alliance staff maintains high standards of ethical and professional conduct.
  • Clinical Record Maintenance: Contribute to the development and maintenance of the clinical record through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
  • Summer Program Coordination: Coordinate, assure, and provide quality clinical care for TEAM Alliance clients for 10 weeks in the summer.
  • Caseload Management: Maintain a caseload of clients that are deemed to need clinical support while assigned staff is not working.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Minimum Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling
  • Licensure: Minimum Valid Ohio LPCC-S required
  • Skills: Strong clinical skills, including expertise in school-based counseling, crisis intervention, family education, and behavioral interventions.
  • Initiative and Judgment: Ability to perform job responsibilities with a high degree of initiative and independent judgment.
  • Cultural Competency: Demonstrates awareness, sensitivity, and skills in working professionally with diverse individuals, groups, and communities.
  • Interpersonal Communication: Communicates clearly using verbal, nonverbal, and written skills in a professional context.
  • Professional and Ethical Conduct: Adheres to professional values such as honesty, personal responsibility, and accountability.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Functions effectively as a member of a professional team that includes employees, clients, and family members.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Recognizes problems and responds appropriately.
Experience:
  • Clinical and Administrative Supervision: Experience in both clinical and administrative supervision.
  • School-Based Services: Demonstrated clinical experience in school-based services.
  • Working with Children and Families: Experience working with children, adolescents, and their families.
Other Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License: Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and driving record that meets the underwriting criteria of the Agency's insurance company.
  • Client Transportation: Must be approved by Bellefaire JCB to transport clients in their own vehicle.
