Job Title: Director of Health and Wellness

N Street Village is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Director of Health and Wellness to lead our health and wellness initiatives. This pivotal role involves developing, implementing, and managing programs that address the physical, emotional, and nutritional needs of the women we serve.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement health and wellness programs tailored to the needs of unhoused women.
  • Ensure all programs are evidence-based, trauma-informed, person-centered, and culturally sensitive.
  • Oversee the high-level operations of our food services program, Wellness Center, MARJ & MAK Vocational Center, and the Bethany Day Center.
  • Develop and implement health and well-being policies and procedures in compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise health and wellness staff, volunteers, and interns.
  • Provide direct support to clients, including health assessments, individualized care plans, crisis intervention, and referrals to appropriate health services.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Nursing, or Public Health.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in health services management, preferably within a homeless service or community health setting.
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations, including homeless individuals and those with mental health or substance use concerns.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
