Director of Behavioral Health Leadership

Unity Health Care seeks a visionary Director of Behavioral Health to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive behavioral health program that integrates seamlessly with our medical practice. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction and alignment for behavioral health and substance use disorder services across our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement an Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) model that engages and educates members of our medical practice
- Supervise Behavioral/Mental Health providers to ensure accuracy and quality in their work
- Serve as a subject matter expert and organizational champion for integrated behavioral health
- Collaborate with Medical Director for Addiction Treatment to ensure seamless integration of substance use disorder treatment with behavioral health services
- Identify, implement, and supervise the clinical delivery of best-practice behavioral health care
- Monitor psychiatric and mental health records, provide feedback, and take corrective action when necessary
- Participate fully in all aspects of Unity's continuing quality improvement efforts and outside agency evaluation and accreditation review
- Develop and update policies related to behavioral health
- Strong leadership and clinical skills, with experience in integrated behavioral health
- Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with quality improvement and accreditation processes
- Knowledge of behavioral health policies and procedures
