The Human Resources Director at BBSI is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of business objectives among the company's Human Resources Team to enhance employee engagement and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

This position involves overseeing all aspects of human resources management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits administration, regulatory compliance, and companies' safety program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategy and development of a strong program to ensure a safe working environment for all associates, with the goal of no long-term accidents.
  • Implement wellness programs to promote employee health and well-being.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the manufacturing business objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand organizational needs and develop long-term workforce plans.
  • Lead the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring the timely and effective hiring of skilled and qualified personnel.
  • Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances.
  • Implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and productivity.
  • Oversee the performance appraisal process, guiding managers on goal setting and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement performance improvement plans when necessary.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
  • Facilitate ongoing learning opportunities to enhance employees' skills and capabilities.
  • Manage the design and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.
  • Stay informed about changes in labor laws and regulations affecting the manufacturing industry.
  • Ensure company policies and practices comply with local, state, and federal laws.
  • Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives within the organization.
  • Implement strategies to promote a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Establish and monitor key HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs.
  • Generate regular reports for senior management on HR-related activities and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
  • Extensive experience in human resources management, with a focus on manufacturing or industrial settings.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies.

Work Environment:

  • 25% travel.
  • 8AM-5PM, Monday-Friday.
  • $48.00 per hour.
