Tank Construction Field Foreman Job Summary

Maguire Iron is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tank Construction Field Foreman to lead our field crew in the erection of elevated water towers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient completion of projects, while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership: Supervise and direct the field crew to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.
  • Communication: Collaborate with project managers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Experience: Five years of industry experience in erecting steel structures.
  • Certifications: Pass Maguire's weld test (certified).
  • Travel: Extensive travel required.
  • Skills: Goal-oriented, reliable, responsible for their actions, ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in written form.
Work Environment:
  • Physical Demands: Majority of the time is spent in the field and will work in unfavorable weather conditions; both heat and cold.
  • Adaptability: Able to work at a sustained pace and produce quality work.
