Job Overview

As a Procurement Associate at ENERGYRE LLC, you will be instrumental in overseeing the sourcing and procurement activities for essential materials and services that support our renewable energy initiatives. Your role will involve close collaboration with various departments, including Development, Construction, Finance, and Legal, as well as engaging with suppliers to ensure effective and economical procurement strategies are executed.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sourcing: Lead the creation of RFP documentation, develop bidding strategies, and identify and qualify potential bidders. Assist in evaluating bid submissions and provide recommendations for shortlisting and awarding contracts that enhance value and minimize risk.
  • Negotiation: Support the negotiation of contracts concerning scope, pricing, terms and conditions, delivery, and amendments with suppliers to secure advantageous terms while upholding quality standards and delivery timelines.
  • Vendor Management: Identify, assess, and onboard suppliers who can deliver high-quality materials and services that align with project specifications and budgetary limits.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards throughout the procurement lifecycle.
  • Cost Analysis: Perform cost analysis and benchmarking to uncover opportunities for savings and efficiency enhancements.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong partnerships with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to promote collaboration and swiftly address any issues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the identification, development, and implementation of new contracting policies and processes, including the integration of ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in procurement, contract management, supply chain management, or a similar role, ideally within the renewable energy or construction sectors.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills with a history of achieving cost reductions and favorable contract conditions.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, capable of handling multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in procurement software and the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with renewable energy technologies and industry-specific procurement practices is advantageous.
