As a Procurement Associate at ENERGYRE LLC, you will be integral to our mission by overseeing the acquisition and sourcing of essential materials and services for our renewable energy initiatives. Your role will involve close collaboration with various departments, including Development, Construction, Finance, and Legal, as well as with external vendors to ensure effective and economical procurement strategies are in place.
Primary Responsibilities- Strategic Sourcing: Lead the creation of RFP documentation, develop bidding strategies, and identify and qualify potential bidders. Assist in evaluating bid submissions and making recommendations for shortlist and award decisions that enhance value and minimize risk.
- Negotiation: Support the negotiation of contracts concerning scope, pricing, terms and conditions, delivery schedules, and modifications with suppliers to secure advantageous agreements while upholding quality standards.
- Vendor Management: Identify, assess, and onboard suppliers who can deliver high-quality materials and services that align with project specifications and budgetary limits.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations throughout the procurement cycle.
- Cost Analysis: Perform cost assessments and benchmarking to uncover opportunities for savings and operational efficiencies.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to promote collaboration and swiftly address any issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the identification, development, and implementation of new contract policies and processes, emphasizing ongoing process enhancements.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in procurement, contract management, supply chain management, or a similar role, ideally within the renewable energy or construction sectors.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills with a history of achieving cost reductions and favorable contract conditions.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, capable of juggling multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in procurement software and the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with renewable energy technologies and industry-specific procurement practices is advantageous.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities.
