Position Overview:
As a key member of the procurement team, the Capital Procurement Specialist will be instrumental in providing analytical and operational support to the capital purchasing division. This role is vital for ensuring excellence in the execution of global capital projects.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor and assess capital sourcing activities, ensuring the maintenance and dissemination of essential performance metrics.
2. Collaborate closely with project procurement managers to pinpoint critical orders necessary for each capital initiative.
3. Keep an updated list of crucial orders for significant capital projects and track their execution progress.
4. Analyze capital execution advancements and offer strategic recommendations for intervention plans.
5. Manage and refresh the capital order logistics database, identifying critical path activities and spearheading risk mitigation efforts.
6. Assist capital purchasing leadership in following up on action plans.
7. Provide additional support to the capital procurement team as needed.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or at least 8 years of relevant professional experience, including military experience at or above a U.S. E6 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking.
- At least 3 years of pertinent work experience in capital procurement.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States, as visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) environments.
