Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources team at Surge Staffing. The successful candidate will be proficient in bilingual communication skills, with experience in HR and/or administrative support.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience in a similar role, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, is required. Knowledge of HR-related federal, state, and local laws and regulations is also essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with various aspects of the HR function, including payroll, recruitment, retention, and benefits administration.
  • Conduct recruitment and onboarding efforts for non-exempt and production employees, students, and temporary employees.
  • Maintain departmental records and reports, HR files, and HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
  • Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proficient bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are required (verbal & written).
  • 1+ years' experience in HR and/or administrative support.
