About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Technical Support Engineer to join our team at Siemens Energy. As a key member of our technical services group, you will play a critical role in supporting our customers and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and leadership for root cause investigations, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer issues.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create solutions, leveraging your problem-solving mentality and technical expertise.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including inspection plans, repair plans, and reports, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support the development of new products and services, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and growth.
  • Lead and/or support steam turbine R&D projects, performing calculations, ensuring drawings are issued to required dates, and completing tasks within allocated budgets.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering required, with a focus on mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • 3 years of relevant experience, with at least 1 year of technical engineering experience with rotating equipment.
  • Fundamental understanding of mechanical engineering principles, with a strong background in reliability, manufacturing, design, or operations of rotating equipment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
