Lead Architect for GPU System Performance Optimization

We are currently seeking a Lead Architect for GPU System Performance Optimization. The NVIDIA Platform Architecture team is in search of exceptional computer architects who possess a genuine enthusiasm for GPU-enhanced deep learning, data analysis, and high-performance computing. This role is pivotal in designing and developing the forthcoming generation of GPU-accelerated computing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Innovate and develop advanced processor and system architectures to push the boundaries of GPU-accelerated cloud computing.
Conduct thorough analyses of performance, cost, and efficiency trade-offs by creating analytical models, simulators, and data visualization tools.
Examine and interpret the interactions between hardware and software in extensive data center deployments of GPU-accelerated systems.
Collaborate across various departments to steer the future of GPU-accelerated cloud computing, engaging with software, product, and business teams.
Qualifications:
Master's or PhD in a relevant discipline such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Over 10 years of pertinent work or research experience.
Proficient programming skills in Python and C++, demonstrated throughout your career.
Exceptional mathematical and analytical capabilities.
Experience that reflects a profound understanding of computer architecture.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, coupled with a genuine passion for teamwork.
Experience in analytical performance modeling, simulation, profiling, and analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
A background in data center/cloud computing design with experience in developing hardware for virtualized environments.
Expertise in data analysis and visualization techniques.
Prior experience and familiarity with GPU computing and parallel programming models.
GPU computing serves as the most effective and widespread platform for deep learning and AI. It begins with the most advanced GPUs and the systems and software we build upon them. We integrate and optimize every deep learning framework.

Innovative internet services, like voice assistants, have learned from audio data to provide a more intuitive way to access information.
Autonomous vehicles utilize deep learning to identify their surroundings, the lanes they navigate, and the obstacles they must evade.
In the medical field, neural networks trained on vast datasets of medical images can uncover insights in MRIs that were previously only accessible through invasive procedures.

Your salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the compensation of employees in similar roles.
