We are looking for a passionate system architect to shape the future of our GPU technology through groundbreaking advancements. This role will involve collaboration across various disciplines, including software, ASIC design, verification, physical design, VLSI, and platform teams. Our system architects are adept at advancing the state of the art while making informed engineering trade-offs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance GPU architecture by optimizing performance, power efficiency, complexity, area, effort, and timelines.
  • Analyze future GPU workloads and design solutions that optimize these workloads on our GPUs.
  • Develop and refine performance analysis tools, including simulators and testbench components, to assess various architectural options.
  • Maintain high-level functional and performance models, analyzing application workloads and simulation results to pinpoint areas for architectural enhancements.
  • Conduct experiments to investigate architectural features, share findings with broader teams, and propose improvement strategies.
  • Document architectural decisions in a specification, collaborating with cross-functional teams such as ASIC design, software, and VLSI to evaluate architecture trade-offs and define comprehensive solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in GPU or CPU architecture.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, product-oriented, distributed team environment.
  • Experience with GPU architecture, graphics pipeline, memory subsystems, Network-on-Chip (NoC)/Interconnect, and/or off-chip I/O.
