POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Senior GPU Machine Learning (ML) Performance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role as a senior technical contributor, overseeing the comprehensive delivery of software solutions. You will be instrumental in coordinating the implementation and optimization efforts across various teams for both inference and training of machine learning models.

This role requires collaboration with software and hardware engineering teams, as well as AMD partners, to strategize, develop, and enhance use cases. This is a remarkable opportunity to engage in cutting-edge GPU Computing for Machine Learning.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:
You are a recognized expert and a strong technical contributor with a solid background in machine learning and GPU programming. You thrive in a team-oriented environment where communication and collaboration are highly valued.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate within a focused team to analyze, implement, and optimize DirectML-TensorFlow and PyTorch for machine learning models.
- Partner with ISV, library, compiler, driver, and hardware engineers to influence strategic decisions aimed at achieving optimal performance for DirectML.
- Innovate new algorithmic enhancements that leverage the strengths of the hardware architecture to deliver superior machine learning performance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Relevant experience in Machine Learning and/or GPU programming.
- Proficiency in deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, Caffe, ONNX, etc.) and familiarity with CNN/LSTM model architectures.
- Understanding of CPU and GPU architecture, along with experience in GPGPU programming technologies.
- Proven ability to advocate for technical solutions in a collaborative team setting.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
