About the Job

We're hiring an Estate Planning Assistant to support our team in Miami. As a key member of our probate and estate planning department, you'll work closely with attorneys to prepare complex legal documents, coordinate meetings, and conduct research.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting and filing probate pleadings, court forms, and other documents related to estate administration and litigation;
  • Collaborating with clients to gather required documentation and information for probate cases;
  • Preparing and reviewing estate planning documents, such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney;
  • Managing communication with clients, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders involved in probate matters;
  • Maintaining accurate records and files related to probate cases;
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a probate law firm or similar environment;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on technical writing and document preparation;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask;
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, and proficiency in legal software and tools;
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $65,000-$85,000 per year, based on experience. Our benefits package includes medical insurance, paid vacation time, and opportunities for career advancement and professional growth.
