At Patterns Behavioral Services, Inc., we are dedicated to providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to individuals with developmental disabilities. We are seeking a Certified Behavior Technician to join our team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate individual to work as a Certified Behavior Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing ABA techniques, collecting data, and collaborating with the clinical team to develop personalized treatment plans.
Responsibilities:
- Implement 1:1 direct ABA techniques in homes or schools
- Collect accurate ongoing data on client's programs
- Help build communication systems (AAC, PECS, ASL) with our non-verbal and emerging-verbal clients and teach communication skills
- Collaborate with the clinical team to tailor ABA treatment plans, ensuring they are personalized to meet the unique needs of each individual
- Ensure clear communication with all team members and parents/clients
- Provide behavioral support and respond to challenging behaviors when necessary
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions
Requirements:
- HS Diploma
- Active CBT
- Experience working with children (personal/professional)
- WA State Driver's license
- Insured, reliable transportation
- Must be able to lift and carry at least 25lbs
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to connect with clients
- Ability to work M-F, MWF, or Tues/Thurs
