About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Behavioral Therapist to join our team at SpringHealth Behavioral Health and Integrated Care. As a Behavioral Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality behavioral services to clients with cognitive, developmental, or intellectual disabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Manager with clinical and administrative tasks.
  • Develop interventions focusing on positive practices to decrease interfering behavior and increase functional skills.
  • Provide ongoing training and consultation for families in the implementation of positive supports and behavioral interventions.
  • Develop goals in a range of areas including communication, functional living skills, social skills, self-help skills, and recreational and leisure skills.
  • Assist with the intake process, observations, and preparation of the consumer's initial behavior assessment.
  • Shadow Behavior Therapists, review progress reports and data, and provide periodic reviews of Behavioral Therapists' performance.
  • Conduct Inter-Observer Agreements (IOA) to ensure accuracy of client data.
  • Provide therapy sessions for assigned clients.
Qualifications
  • Must be enrolled in Master's program or have Master's Degree in related field.
  • 2-3 years experience working as a Behavior Therapist.
  • 2-3 years experience working with children age 2-18 with developmental disabilities.
