About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Turfgrass Application Specialist to join our team at Ryan Lawn & Tree. As a key member of our turfgrass and lawn care group, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and managing a route of customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Provide excellent account management and customer service to our valued customers.
  • Turfgrass Applications: Complete turf bid requests, fertilization applications, aerating, seeding, and service calls for customer properties.
  • Lawn Care Solutions: Diagnose and provide specific lawn care solutions for individual customer properties.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively in a team environment and efficiently on your own to achieve goals.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Possess knowledge of turfgrass practices and all other RYAN services.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in the green or agricultural industry.
  • Education: Bachelor or Associates degree in agronomy, turfgrass, or agricultural sciences is a plus.
  • Certifications: Valid Driver's License, Ability to obtain DOT certification, and Ability to obtain and maintain state issued pesticide applicator license, turfgrass within 3 months.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds.
