Martz Bros. Lawn Care, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Tree Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional tree care services to our customers.
Job Responsibilities:- Apply liquid fertilizers, insecticides, and other necessary chemicals to customer shrubs and small trees.
- Co-manage a designated route of customers, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to phone calls and emails with in-depth knowledge of trees and customer service skills.
- Identify and diagnose tree and shrub issues, working with our ISA Certified Arborist to develop solutions.
- Use our database to view customer program details and manage customer relationships.
- Work collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a professional appearance and clean fleet vehicle, adhering to company standards.
- Pick up materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors as needed.
- Mix chemicals in tanks and backpack sprayers, following safety protocols and regulations.
- Maintenance of a state-issued pesticide applicator license.
- A valid driver's license with the ability to obtain DOT certification.
- Professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers, vendors, and Martz Bros. staff.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, adapting to changing weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 60 pounds, climb, and work aloft, push, and pull objects while walking five miles a day.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries from customers and staff.
- Ability to sell lawn and tree programs using a consultative sales approach.
- Full-time, year-round employment with a starting pay up to $X per hour and opportunities for immediate growth via a lucrative bonus structure.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to sixty pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
