Job Overview

Child Evangelism Fellowship Virginia, Central Virginia Chapter, is in search of a dedicated individual with a ministry focus to assume the role of Regional Program Supervisor (RPS).


Key Responsibilities

The Regional Program Supervisor (RPS) is tasked with overseeing the After-School Good News Clubs (GNCs) within the designated region, ensuring both the expansion and excellence of these programs. The RPS is expected to commit approximately 20 hours per week to this role.


Specific Duties:
  1. Promotes Growth of Good News Clubs: Actively seeks opportunities to introduce the GNC program to new educational institutions within the region. Engages with community members to raise awareness of the program. Communicates key contacts and public relations opportunities to the Director and Good News Club Coordinator. Encourages established clubs to invite new participants.
  2. Ensures Quality of Good News Clubs: Conducts regular evaluations of clubs to ensure compliance with CEF Policies, focusing on the quality of instruction and the well-being of participants, including aspects of evangelism, discipleship, safety, and enjoyment.
  3. Supervises GNC Team Leaders: Ensures that all team members are documented on the Club Roster with appropriate Child Protection clearances. Guarantees that Monthly Statistical Reports are submitted to the chapter office in a timely manner. Maintains open lines of communication between clubs, sponsoring churches, and the Chapter Prayer Coordinator. Completes necessary administrative tasks and facilitates communication with educational institutions as required.
  4. Reporting Structure: Regularly meets with the Local Coordinator/Director and submits a monthly written report detailing activities and progress.

Qualifications

The RPS must be able to affirm and sign CEF's Statement of Faith and should exhibit a balanced approach to Christian living, characterized by:

  • A consistent personal relationship with the Lord
  • Effective resource management
  • Active involvement in a local church
  • A ministry-oriented, humble servant leadership style
