Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Survey Field Intern to join our team at Westwood Professional Services, Inc. As a Survey Field Intern, you will assist our experienced crew chiefs in the operation of a field survey crew, ensuring the quality, safety, and maintenance of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the operation of a field survey crew, ensuring the quality, accuracy, and thoroughness of work.
  • Operate equipment, maintain a safe work environment, and protect and maintain equipment and vehicles.
  • Accurately and efficiently collect field data and locate features, recording clear and concise surveying notes.
  • Set wooden stakes and iron rods, cut and clear brush, trees, etc., as required.
  • Adhere to the company's Safety, Quality Management, and Equipment Maintenance policies.
Requirements:
  • Physically mobile in and around construction sites and field assignments.
  • Ability to carry survey equipment and supplies in remote, rural, or urban surroundings.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and walk long distances.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Currently enrolled in an associates or bachelor's degree program in Surveying, Engineering Technology, or related area of study.
Compensation:

USD $18.00/Hr. - USD $22.00/Hr.
