Compensation: The hourly wage ranges from $25.00 to $40.00, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficient in utilizing conventional survey instruments and GPS technology for data collection and construction control placement.
  • Experienced in all field methodologies related to boundary retracement, design assistance, and construction survey support.
  • Accountable for maintaining clear, precise, and informative field documentation.
  • Oversee field crew operations to effectively conduct daily topographic, boundary, and control surveys.
  • Engage with client representatives on-site to ensure satisfaction and relay their requirements to the office team.
  • Identify and report any unique or potential construction challenges to the office support team.
  • Examine survey maps, locate monumentation, and assess physical evidence necessary for property line retracement.
  • Guarantee accurate collection and transfer of field data to the office support team.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong mathematical skills to support traditional survey analysis.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
  • Capability to work under tight deadlines while managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in construction surveying as a Party Chief.
  • Experience with Trimble field equipment is essential.
  • A valid driver's license is required, along with successful completion of the Company's MVR screening.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for business needs.
