Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Territory Manager to join our team at US Foods, Inc. in Salt Lake City, UT. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for fostering customer relationships, managing delivery schedules, and resolving order issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster strong customer relationships in a team-based selling model.
  • Manage deliveries to published routing schedules and troubleshoot any problems that occur during the order process.
  • Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary, working with the credit department and clients.
  • Leverage other resources to assist with top penetration opportunities and new account openings.
  • Develop new business through market intelligence databases, business directories, and leads from existing clients.
Requirements:
  • 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with the foodservice industry or culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated base salary for this role is between $50,000 and $90,000 per year, depending on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. This role is also eligible for incentive pay and offers a range of benefits, including health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.
