Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Care Management Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will perform administrative tasks under the direction of multiple physicians to ensure the smooth operation of our office. Your responsibilities will include answering phone calls, greeting patients, handling correspondence, scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and transcribing patient visits.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care by speaking with patients professionally and fully explaining treatments and procedures.
- Respond to phone messages using the correct system and direct them to the appropriate individual.
- Send prescriptions upon provider request and update/review melanoma and pathology results logs daily.
- Properly process Prior Authorizations and have a full understanding of the iPledge program.
- Create and send outbound referrals and certified letters as needed.
- Run MIPS reports, identifying completed items and overriding when applicable.
To be successful in this role, you will need a High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) and excellent communication and organizational skills. If you are a detail-oriented and independent thinker who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply.
