Overview:

The Deputy Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing restaurant operations, either alongside or in the absence of the General Manager. This position requires sound judgment in daily management choices, with a commitment to upholding the Brand values and fostering a thriving environment. The focus is on cultivating a culture centered around people and guests, ensuring exceptional service and food quality while adhering to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:


• Assess staffing needs; recruit and select candidates that align with job profiles


• Train, mentor, and evaluate team performance; ensure effective training systems are in place


• Delegate tasks and responsibilities


• Identify and nurture internal talent for management and leadership roles


• Treat team members with respect and dignity, regularly acknowledging and rewarding their contributions


• Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations


• Oversee daily operations to achieve outstanding performance


• Hold the team accountable for delivering exceptional service and food quality in line with brand standards and safety requirements


• Continuously review and enhance practices to improve guest experiences


• Engage with guests and the community; address inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally


• Maintain brand integrity by ensuring cleanliness, maintenance, and high service standards


• Collaborate with the restaurant manager to utilize management tools for analyzing operational and financial performance


• Recognize trends and implement strategies for improvement


• Concentrate on developing long-term sales growth initiatives aimed at driving profitability


• Evaluate the financial implications of decisions to safeguard the brand


• Monitor expenses and adherence to budgetary goals

The Deputy Manager will contribute to the organization by fostering an exceptional work environment through effective leadership, guidance, training, and development.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain on your feet and attentive for extended periods
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. as necessary
  • Frequent use of hands and arms
  • Continuous bending, reaching, and twisting
