Position Overview:

The Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine is seeking a board certified or board eligible Physiatrist for a full-time role as an assistant, associate, or full professor on the clinical scholar pathway.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive patient care in an inpatient acute rehabilitation setting.
  • Engage in teaching medical students and residents.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Orthopaedics, Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Acute Care Surgery.
  • Participate in shared weekend and holiday coverage among a team of six physicians.
  • Provide acute care consultations and manage outpatient prosthetic/orthotic needs.
Qualifications:

Candidates must possess a strong interest in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) and demonstrate a commitment to teaching and research.
