Join Our Team of Physiatrists

The Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at The University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible physiatrist to join our team as an assistant, associate, or full professor on the clinical scholar pathway.

About the Role

We are looking for an individual with a strong interest in comprehensive Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) to join our inpatient acute rehabilitation service. The successful candidate will be responsible for patient care and will have opportunities to teach residents and medical students.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in our 35-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
  • Participate in resident and medical student teaching
  • Contribute to the development of clinical and basic science research
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Orthopaedics, Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Acute Care surgery
Qualifications

We are seeking a candidate with a strong interest in teaching and a commitment to excellence in patient care. The ideal candidate will have a board certification or board eligibility in physiatry and a strong background in PM&R.
