Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Capability to interact effectively with individuals from various backgrounds.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Aptitude for building positive relationships within the college community and with the public.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
- Demonstrated public speaking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM systems.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as necessary.
Work Environment: This role typically occurs outside of a traditional office setting, requiring substantial interaction with prospective students, families, and educational counselors. The Admissions Recruiter must be prepared to travel to various recruitment locations.
Physical Demands:
- Light physical activity, including sitting, standing, or walking as needed. Occasional handling of materials may be required.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Extended periods of standing may be necessary during recruitment events.
- Capability to access files and deliver presentations in public settings.
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity are essential for operating a computer and handling documents.
- Good hearing and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective interaction in person and via telephone.
Educational Background:
- A Bachelor's Degree is required.
- Previous experience in admissions is preferred.
