  • Deliver engaging presentations to prospective students, families, and educational counselors.
  • Skillfully convey the college's mission while visiting numerous high schools, community organizations, and college fairs.
  • Actively represent the college at various special events.
  • Perform administrative tasks as directed by the admissions leadership.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capability to interact effectively with individuals from various backgrounds.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
  • Aptitude for building positive relationships within the college community and with the public.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated public speaking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as necessary.

Work Environment: This role typically occurs outside of a traditional office setting, requiring substantial interaction with prospective students, families, and educational counselors. The Admissions Recruiter must be prepared to travel to various recruitment locations.

Physical Demands:
  • Light physical activity, including sitting, standing, or walking as needed. Occasional handling of materials may be required.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Extended periods of standing may be necessary during recruitment events.
  • Capability to access files and deliver presentations in public settings.
  • Manual dexterity and visual acuity are essential for operating a computer and handling documents.
  • Good hearing and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective interaction in person and via telephone.

Educational Background:
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Previous experience in admissions is preferred.
