Job Description

This large municipality is seeking an experienced Service Desk Specialist to join their team. As a Level 2 Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to internal employees via phone, email, and in-person. You will troubleshoot issues, draft tickets, and escalate complex problems to senior technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to internal employees via phone, email, and in-person
  • Troubleshoot issues with hardware, software, and audio-visual equipment
  • Draft and manage tickets in the ticketing system
  • Escalate complex problems to senior technicians
  • Manage and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a help desk or Service Desk role
  • 1+ year of experience troubleshooting audio-visual equipment, specifically with Crestron
  • Direct experience with hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Windows 10 experience
  • Experience remoting into users and troubleshooting using remote software
  • Imaging experience with SCCM, creating images
  • Mobile device management experience with Microsoft Intune or similar
  • Microsoft and Adobe troubleshooting experience
  • Ticketing system experience, preferably with ServiceNow
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
