Position Overview:

The Project Engineer plays a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and safety within the organization. This position is focused on troubleshooting and optimizing processes while managing project-related tasks that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations and long-term process enhancements across assigned facilities, aiming to boost safety, efficiency, and product quality while minimizing costs.
  • Manage ongoing projects, ensuring adherence to budget constraints and effective execution from planning through to post-project evaluations.
  • Collaborate with facility operations to review and refine operational procedures, ensuring compliance with established standards and enhancing safety protocols.
  • Conduct audits of manufacturing and distribution processes to verify compliance with company standards and participate in core team initiatives.
  • Serve as a technical resource for external stakeholders, providing expertise as needed.
  • Assist in safety, compliance, and regulatory matters across all facilities.
  • Engage in customer audits and training sessions as required.
  • Support procurement efforts to optimize equipment and material costs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical preferred).
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a chemical manufacturing setting.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and relevant engineering software.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and working at heights.
