Job Summary

American Bridge Company is seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineering Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing the fabrication and construction of dam spillway gates and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development of engineering submittals and means and methods of construction.
  • Manage site safety requirements, contract and budget management, and construction and engineering work plan development.
  • Ensure that work completed on site meets the quality control requirements of the contract.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 0-2 years of experience in bridge and/or steel structures, with proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Ability to learn construction practices and comply with federal, state, and local codes, industry standards, and company procedures.
Preferred Skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards and specialty bridge design software.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to effectively plan and organize to meet project deadlines.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
