Key Responsibilities
  • Process Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to improve manufacturing efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Facility Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned facilities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Project Management: Manage active projects, including project layout, scope, budgeting, planning, and execution.
  • Training and Development: Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for operators and supervisors, ensuring they adhere to established standards.
  • Audit and Compliance: Conduct audits to ensure adherence to Brenntag standards, participate in core teams, and provide technical support to external stakeholders.
  • Technical Support: Serve as a technical resource for sales, customers, and other external sources, providing expertise on process-related matters.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance process safety, efficiency, and quality.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to communicate effectively, proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
  • Certifications: Possess or qualify for a TWIC card, successfully pass background checks and drug screens.
