This role is for a classified systems administrator with a strong background in system configuration and IT compliance, particularly in cybersecurity. The position involves supporting various projects and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct system administration, integration, verification, and validation for computer systems and operating systems that support engineering initiatives.
2. Assist in the development and implementation of computer systems based on user or system design specifications, utilizing systems analysis techniques.
3. Provide expert systems administration techniques for current and future engineering projects and programs.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Active US security clearance (Interim Secret level or higher).
- Capability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.
- Proficient in system administration of production networks, including Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2016/2019, and/or Linux.
- Preferred certifications include Security+ or other IAT Level II/III security credentials.
- Experience with Active Directory domains and/or (Linux) NIS domains.
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Preferred Skills:
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on various OS update tools necessary for installations and updates.
- Manage asset inventory and administration for IT hardware.
- Establish validation processes and create configuration profile records for newly imaged assets.
- Validate system requirements and compliance with installed updates prior to asset delivery.
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance; applicants must be US Citizens.
Work Environment:
This position is performed onsite at a designated facility. Lockheed Martin offers various flexible work schedules, including standard 40-hour weeks and condensed schedules for additional time off.
