Job Summary

CorVel Healthcare Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our Enterprise Service and Device Management Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our Windows 10 Hardened Systems implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Administration: Create and maintain secured Windows 10 workstations, virtual desktops, and servers.
  • Employee Support: Provide direct support to employees for Windows 10 Hardened Systems.
  • Software Management: Package and update enterprise software for Windows 10 Hardened Systems.
  • Vulnerability Remediation: Perform vulnerability remediations on workstations, virtual machines, and servers.
  • Documentation: Create, maintain, design, build, and support documentation for systems and processes.
  • Project Leadership: Lead projects and act as a product owner.
  • Mentorship: Mentor peers and collaborate across teams.
  • On-Call Support: Participate in on-call rotations.
Requirements
  • Advanced Experience: 5+ years of experience managing Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) and Endpoint Configuration Manager.
  • Desktop Operating System Experience: Advanced experience in desktop operating system image design and configuration.
  • PowerShell Scripting: Experience with creating PowerShell scripts to manage, configure, gather information, and remediate servers and end-user devices.
  • Windows Operating Systems: Deep knowledge of modern Windows operating systems, including Windows 10.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability: Adaptability and willingness to respond to changing priorities.
  • Task Completion: Ability to complete assigned tasks by deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Microsoft PAW/Saw: Knowledge/experience with Microsoft's PAW/Saw technology.
  • SCCM OSD/MDT: Experience managing SCCM OSD and/or MDT.
  • Microsoft Autopilot: Experience with Microsoft Autopilot.
  • Application Whitelisting: Experience implementing application whitelisting using Windows AppLocker or WDAC.
  • Windows Hyper-V: Experience with Windows Hyper-V running on Windows 10.
  • System Hardening: Experience implementing system hardening using Windows Security Center guidance.
  • SQL Management: Experience with SQL management.
  • Microsoft AVD: Experience with Microsoft AVD.
  • PowerShell Scripting: Advanced PowerShell scripting skillset.
  • Windows Performance Tuning: Experience with Windows operating system performance tuning.
Education and Experience
  • College Degree: College degree, Microsoft certification, or relevant work experience.
Pay Range

CorVel Healthcare Corporation uses a market-based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.

For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during the interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.

Pay Range: $67,086 – $111,634
