As a Junior Construction Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in assisting with project management during HVAC construction activities. Your primary focus will be to uphold project standards, manage budgets, adhere to deadlines, and facilitate effective communication among team members. You will also be responsible for ensuring safety compliance and fostering a safety-oriented culture within the project team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organizing, reviewing, and distributing contract documents and shop drawings to relevant team members.
- Assisting in the preparation of Requests for Information (RFIs) and participating in field coordination meetings.
- Managing project closeout documentation and implementing quality control measures.
- Supporting changes in the scope of work and assisting with procurement processes.
- Conducting site inspections and ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
- Collaborating with suppliers to obtain project estimates and monitor labor efficiency.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction or building industry.
