Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Rochester team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects and scopes, driving schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project schedules with the project team
  • Review cost reports and suggest solutions to resolve variances
  • Accountable for monthly project team meeting (PTM) reporting
  • Schedule and conduct project meetings and closeout process
  • Facilitate schedule creation, maintenance, and compliance
  • Work with the on-site construction team to ensure thorough plan/specification review
  • Responsible for completing procurement and project buyout process
  • Maintains assigned key customer relationships and provides insight to the RFP process
  • Participates in community and industry events to build professional networks
  • Delivers the Knutson Experience on each project
  • Identifies and controls project risk, in coordination with the project team
  • Manages project to achieve established margin goal
  • Reviews and understands contract implications and reports exposure to management
  • Enforces and supports project safety policies and practices
  • Develops and implements quality assurance/quality control policies and practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Minimum 5-7 years of commercial construction experience
  • Construction-related certifications and training are highly desirable
