Job Summary

We are seeking a self-driven Project Manager to take ownership of multiple projects and scopes. The successful candidate will manage project budgets, drive schedules, and develop strong relationships with our team members and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the overall construction and closeout phases of projects.
  • Develop and implement the overall construction schedule with the project team.
  • Review cost reports against budget and suggest solutions to resolve variances.
  • Accountable for monthly project team meeting reporting.
  • Schedule and conduct project meetings and closeout processes.
  • Facilitate schedule creation, maintenance, and compliance.
  • Work with the on-site construction team to ensure thorough plan/specification review.
  • Responsible for completing procurement and project buyout processes.
  • Maintains assigned key customer relationships and provides insight to the RFP process.
  • Participates in community and industry events to build professional networks and promote Knutson Construction Services.
  • Delivers the Knutson Experience on each project.
  • Identifies and controls project risk, in coordination with the project team.
  • Manages projects to achieve established margin goals.
  • Reviews and understands the implications of all contracts and contract documents.
  • Enforces and supports project safety policies and practices.
  • Develops and implements quality assurance/quality control policies and practices.
  • Responsible for the operations side of the preconstruction process.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, with a minimum of 5-7 years of commercial construction experience. Construction-related certifications and training are highly desirable.
